I.D.: IELTS will ONLY accept Passports or National ID Cards (EU, EEA and Swiss citizens ONLY) as valid forms of ID. Please note: Oppholdstillatelse (Residency permit), Driver’s Licence, Student Cards etc. are NOT permitted as valid forms of I.D. by IELTS.

BRING TO THE TEST:

  • The same Identification that you stated in your online application - ONLY this will be accepted as identification on the test day.  If you are unable to bring this, please contact us immediately.
  • Water in a transparent bottle.  No other food or drinks will be allowed in the test room.
     

PLEASE LEAVE AT HOME (OR IN LOCKED BAGGAGE ROOM AT TEST CENTRE)
Whilst you may leave personal belongings in the baggage room - which will be locked during the test, Folkeuniversitetet does not accept any responsibility for these items:

  • Dictionaries, thesaurus and any other test aids. These are not allowed.
  • Your pencil case. All stationery you need - pencils, erasers and sharpeners - will be provided.

  • Valuable items. Personal belongings will be locked away in a room during the test. NB: Watches, Mobile phones, MP3 players and all other electronic equipment must be turned off and stored in our secure baggage room prior to the exam.
  • Other items not permitted in the test room: Hats, jackets, bags, food, drinks (other than water in clear/see through bottle without labels), snus, wallets/purses etc.

SPEAKING TEST:

  • The speaking test will also be held at our test centres.
  • Speaking tests can be held anytime either in the week prior to or week after the written part of the test - although for Saturday test dates, we endeavour to have speaking tests on the Friday afternoon (day before test) and Saturday afternoon directly after the written part of the test. For Thursday tests we usually have the speaking tests on the Wednesday afternoon (day before the test) and Thursday afternoon directly after the written part of the test. Other days may be used.
  • Applications for specific speaking times will be considered if a request is received in writing (email) at least 10 days prior to the test.
  • Once a speaking time is allocated we are not obliged to change it.
  • All speaking tests will be recorded.
  • You must bring your ID to the speaking test AND the written tests.
  • Please note that speaking examiners are not allowed to comment on or discuss your performance during the speaking test nor give any indication as to your grades.
